[When in doubt cry racism-ed]
AN ASIAN man who assaulted a young woman during a week of violent clashes outside a Muslim-owned dairy was sentenced to three months in jail.
But Nadeem Hussein, 24, of St Paul’s Road, Slough, was given a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to the attack on 18-year-old Nicola Pegg in Windsor last year.
Hussein, who was sentenced at Slough Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, originally pleaded not guilty to the charges, which included spitting in the face of Miss Pegg.
He claimed he’d acted in self-defence after being racially abused and that Miss Pegg spat at him first.
