Even though most people today are not staunch religious Christians, it is still important to recognise that Britain was built on Christian foundations. To be a good Christian, you do not need to be a regular church goer because our culture acknowledges our religion, through various Christian cultural events, like Christmas and Easter.
I believe we have a menace growing in Britain today. In this month’s Identity magazine I read an article about Europe’s wars over the centuries with Muslim invaders and the European struggle to stop Europe being turned Islamic. It is happening again, but this time politicians are not sending the troops in, they are welcoming them into Europe with open arms.
Being an ex Liberal Democrat member, I am well ware of the Lib-Dems grass roots local community politics. Local politics is my forte, and I have been working hard with a small number of dedicated volunteers for many years to expose Rotherham council’s corruption. I am also a member of my local church where I help out regularly with the “bring and buy” sales.
Church anger
A friend of mine at church who is well aware of my politics brought me some Islamic leaflets and books, which she obtained. Our Father at Church was very angry and I was shocked and saddened by the contents. The books and leaflets were produced by various Islamic groups from as far away as South Africa and all contained what I would call offensive anti Christian propaganda. They are blasphemous, and offensive to my religion.
In view of the Government’s proposed religious hatred laws, I have to wonder whether these types of books will be banned in the near future. The pictures are particularly offensive to me as a Christian but it appears people are not particularly bothered about that. It seems fine for other religious groups to ridicule Christianity today, but if you dare criticize a minority religion, the police come and the Government tries to put you in prison.
This will not deter me! I intend to continue with my expose of our rotten corrupt local Council, and I will continue to protect my faith through highlighting the growing Islamic presence in my town.
