A GROUND-breaking report is urging Islamic madrasa schools - including ones in Redbridge - to adopt policies to prevent child abuse.
The Muslim Parliament’s Child Protection in a Faith-Based Environment: A Guideline Report, calls for a national register of mosque schools.
Its publication is the result of a seminar in January hosted by Ghazanfar Ali, chairman Ilford Islamic Day Care and Community Centre, Albert Road, Ilford, organised by Dr Ghayasuddin Siddiqui, leader of the Muslim Parliament.
