A businessman was jailed indefinitely today after his wife found sickening films of him raping a 12-year-old girl.

Kenneth Creswell had made more than 270 hours of recordings over three years of the horrific abuse of his young victim.

In one film, the 51-year-old predator even held his thumb up and winked at the camera as the child ran from the room sobbing.

On another occasion he berated her behaviour telling her she had to “try harder and smile for the camera”.

Creswell’s wife discovered the appalling cache of home-made pornography when she was tidying his office.

She called in police and he was arrested with a carload of films, cameras and laptops.
