8th October 2004
Starting at 0400hrs (Friday 8th) (BST) the official BNP web server, which for commercial and legal reasons, is located in the USA, suffered a sustained hostile attack by what is termed “denial of service”, leading to the server being closed down by our hosting providers.
As part and parcel of our contract, our hosting providers immediately responded and set up a new server (computer) to host our material. Unfortunately due to the inherent nature of the Internet, the material on that new server was not immediately available to all Internet users. Depending upon where one is geographically situated and which Internet Service Provider one uses, it may have been anything from 3-18 hours before the website was once again available.
Criminal attack
The Denial of Service (DoS) attack is a serious criminal matter and our hosting providers have proven to be extremely co-operative in identifying the source of the attack. Traceability is certainly possible, however in this case we have been told the attacker(s) were clearly very professional and it is unlikely to be a random attack by a “script-kiddie”. The Americanism used there simply means a typical spotty 15 year old trying to cut his teeth with computer programs to cause a bit of havoc and gain some experience. We are encouraged to suspect that the attack was pre-empted and undertaken by a British Government sponsored agent or agent(s) or a British security service in response to several events which took place yesterday.
Linked events
1. BNP member Jay Lee received news that he has won his epic legal case against the ASLEF trade union in the Employment Tribunal.
The Tribunal held unanimously that Mr.Lee had been unlawfully expelled from the ASLEF trade union for his membership of the BNP. This verdict means that Mr.Lee is now entitled to claim thousands of pounds in compensation and costs from ASLEF.
Such a verdict sent a shiver through the corridors of the Trade Union movement and their comrades in New Labour. The verdict opens the door to scores of similar cases and may lead to serious financial issues for some unions in terms of the cost of compensation. It also throws into doubt the credibility of those union leaders that have sanctioned expulsions of BNP members and indeed members of other political parties.
2. Despite the odds, Lawrence Rustem, our dedicated candidate for Dagenham Village ward, gained a significant increase in the vote against the Establishment (Lib-Lab) party candidate. The Establishment (Lib-Lab) party campaign was underhanded and the BNP team will be very busy over the next few weeks identifying illegal voters and challenging those that are found to be fraudulent.
3. The fact that the official BNP website is now a credited “news source” for the Google search tool must have also come as a shock to the multi-culturalists and criminals that make up the New Labour regime. It seems that due to the huge Internet audience that is seeking out the official BNP website, from Mexico to New Zealand and all places in-between, that the Google search tool is However the BNP is not the only non-establishment website to cover events and news items that is now linked to from the Google search tool. The “anarchist-left” website indymedia.org is also linked to from Google. The BNP may agree with much of the material that the indymedia.org site publishes. The BNP also may disagree with much of the material published on the same site. Agreement and dissent in not the issue. We fully respect and where we can uphold the right of indymedia to publish their material. One thing we would never allow and this can go down on record for all to view and recall in the future: A BNP Government would never allow a repeat of the violation of national sovereignty that took place on British soil last night. Individuals representing the (American) FBI entered the premises of a London based web-hosting company (RackSpace) and removed the computers hosting Indymedia’s websites which cover the UK and most of western and central Europe. Not only did this act of theft take place on British soil; the indymedia site editors were neither forewarned/advised of such an attack and continue to be left in ignorance as to the reason for this attack.
“What’s going on”?
Quite simply, the enormous range of news-sources, views, opinions and publication of the “alternative truth” worries those who run Britain today. Just a decade ago, the only sources of world and domestic events were the newspapers and the radio/television. As we have documented in the past, the vast majority of popular newspapers; both national and regional, the vast majority of radio stations and the television channels are owned and managed by those that have a political agenda to follow and that agenda is very sinister, they seek to destroy Britain! The Internet allows those from outside this ruling elite to have their say and ruling elite do not like it one bit.
Stronger future
These attacks have simply forced us to address our Internet presence, involving technical and commercial considerations. We can announce that we have put together a strategy which will mean that very shortly we will have a very robust and secure system making it almost impossible for our opponents and those that seek to destroy Britain to take us off air ever again.
We acknowledge that “Google” is a registered trademark in the US and other countries and that any inclusion of that word in any item claiming to be an official BNP page is in no way indicative of any direct connection between this page, its owners and the “Google” web search tool.
