The 13 contestants have entered the reality TV house - hoping to win the 11-week series’ £100,000 top prize.
Contestants this year include former Tory strategist Derek Laud, 40.
TORY-BOY housemate Derek Laud was forced to stand down as a Westminster candidate after being caught drink-driving.
The 40-year-old hoped to become an MP during the 1997 General Election.
But he was forced to stand down as the Conservative candidate for Tottenham, North London, after being convicted in the US.
He was over the limit when he crashed his car, injuring four people.
After the smash, the gay politician said he ‘could not take his chauffeur everywhere’.
