62% Of Gay Men Don’t Think Hepatitis B Is Serious

A survey of 52 respondents this week in Soho found that most gay men don’t think that Hepatitis B is anything serious, despite leading healthcare professionals claiming it can cause life-long liver disease and is 100 times more infectious than HIV.

Nearly 50% of respondents thought the first dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine would take more then thirty minutes to administer, when really it takes seven minutes or less.
