This training position is only open to unemployed applicants from the following racial origins: African, Asian, Afro-Caribbean and Chinese, aged 25+ and living within Liverpool City boundary.

This training opportunity will provide on-the-job and off-the-job training aiming to bring the trainee to a level at which he/she is able to compete for jobs.

As well as gaining valuable skills and experience in the area of work, an essential part of the training is personal development. All trainees participate in a personal development programme made up of various elements including workshops which provides an opportunity to explore a range of issues such as what gets in the way of getting the job you want and how to address that, and having an employment coach to support the transition from training to work.

£5.60 per hour

Required Qualifications:
The trainee will be based within the Children’s Services Portfolio of Liverpool City Council. The successful individuals will be trained within the portfolio to carry out administrative support duties. The successful candidate should be a team player, who is willing to support the delivery of projects and programmes that are inclusive, diverse and excellent.
