A MASSIVE street brawl erupted after a drink-fuelled night ended in chaos. Up to 100 students were seen fighting in residential streets.

It is believed the fracus had a racial element with fights kicking off between African and Asian students.

Residents said a man being restrained by police repeatedly shouted: “I’ll kill him next time”.

One resident said: “It’s the first time we have ever had a Beirut situation on our doorstep.

“They began hitting each other with fists. I could hear bottles being smashed or being used to hit people.”

He also saw a man bashing another with a baseball bat.
