A 99-year-old great grandma chased a burglar from her home for the second time in a year - days before her 100th birthday.
Feisty Kathleen Slater woke in the night to find the masked intruder inches away from her face, demanding her money.
The incident comes 11 months after a daylight attack in which two burglars grabbed her throat and tried to wrestle her attack alarm from her.
On both occasions the great-grandmother-of-16 managed to activate her alarm and see off her attackers.
