NHS bosses sparked a storm of criticism last night after abolishing Easter celebrations to avoid offending other religions.
Health chiefs who scrapped the traditional Christian break claimed recognising the festival would insult Muslims and foreign staff.
They say allowing employees at their “multicultural” hospitals to take time off at Easter could upset ethnic minorities and immigrants.
Last night critics attacked the move as another politically-correct assault on traditional Christian values.

why does the NHS want to stop the easter celebrations? They should focus on more important things like thier crippling debt and the fact that they are 2 months behind on writing up doctors appointments and so on. They need to focus on these things, not a celebration!
